The orders from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Georgia and Armenia, cooperation with the largest gold mining plant in Russia and an Indian company... USOLMASH LLC is working at full speed. It was hard to believe in such a situation just a year ago.
The enterprise (it was then Production Association “Usolmash” OJSC) was declared bankrupt. In October 2014, USOLMASH LLC was established in its premises. Some workshops were leased from the previous plant, people were employed again. Out of 450 specialists, 270 people were employed. Nikolay Tokarev, deputy director general, will later say: “The raft that we had built would not hold more people”. Yes, the plant had to come up. To optimize production, the number of workshops was reduced. The plant managed to reduce electricity consumption by half, while the efficiency was increased by 5-7%. A new life began.
- I should admit that when we had decided to establish an LLC, we were scared - would it work? - recalls Aleksey Marunov, director of USOLMASH LLC. - I assembled a team, not the management, but the workers, and the people supported me. Without their support there was no point in moving forward.
They didn't just support him, they believed in him! It is worth noting that in recent years the company has seen many directors. A lot of specialists came to the plant. Sometimes they had two higher educations, they were good people, but they were not familiar with the specific nature of production process. For Aleksey Marunov, Usolmash is a native enterprise, he has been working here for 16 years. He started his career as a foreman, worked in many workshops, became the deputy general director. His appointment to the position of director was not only logical, it brough hope and optimism of people.
In such a short period of work, the governmental agencies have already conducted two inspections of the new enterprise. The result is no any notes or comments! The workers receive their salary on time. Previously, they did not receive it for months. USOLMASH LLC regularly pays taxes and has no outstanding electricity bills. At present, it is finishing preparations for winter season, such as repair of the heating pipe main, roofs, and windows and purchase of new equipment for the production process.
- During this short period of time, we have managed to gain a positive reputation, we have not failed a single delivery. In addition, we work ahead of schedule, - says Aleksey Marunov.
- Our customers are satisfied, - adds Nika Udzilauri, chief commercial officer. - For as long as I have been working here, I have heard only positive feedback about the quality of our equipment. It is not inferior to the world leaders in this industry.
At present, USOLMASH LLC is competitive in terms of the production times, price and quality of the equipment. None of such achievements would be possible without the glorious history of the plant.
- We are its successors, - says Aleksey Marunov. - In July this year, Usolmash turned 70 years old. The best specialists of the plant were awarded with the certificates and valuable gifts.

- I do not remember the times when so many young specialists worked at the plant as now. I am happy to visit the workshop: the employees work in a well-coordinated manner, with diligence and due efforts.
Ivan Vasilievich has seen a lot. He is already 76 years old, but he still works at the plant to transfer his knowledge to the younger generation.
- Currently, our task is not to slow down the pace at which we began to work, to continue the production increase and increase the number of jobs, - says Aleksey Marunov. - This will happen with each and every new large order.
