Conditioning tanks are intended for contact with reagents of various pulps before the flotation process, preparation of working compositions of reagents, and also as sumps for maintaining solids in a suspended state at enrichment plants of non-ferrous, ferrous metallurgy, chemical and other industries.
The design of the vat ensures uniform pulp density throughout its entire volume. Depending on the purpose of the composition and temperature of the pulp, contact vats are manufactured in conventional and acid-resistant versions. Conditioning tanks for working with pulps with increased solid content are equipped with high-power electric motors and high-rigidity bridges. The impeller (propeller agitator) for conditioning tanks with a high solids content in the pulp is installed in the area of the circulation pipe with a narrowed space and minimal gaps, which ensures axial circulation of pulp flows in the tank sufficient for suspending large particles by ascending flows.
The supply of reagents and pulp to the conditioning tank is carried out in the circulation pipe zone. Conditioning tanks can be equipped with aeration devices.
To regulate the pulp level, measure pH and bearing heating temperature, conditioning tanks are equipped with automatic control systems, the installation of which is carried out by the company’s specialists.
The bodies of larger conditioning tanks (body capacity over 25m3) are supplied in sectors, which enables their transportation on railway platforms and by road, and also significantly reduces the installation time at the Customer’s.
