Due to the government support, the Usolmash machine-building will buy a five-axis milling machine, a portable metal laser analyzer, and a compact optical emission spectrometer. The plant will increase the production of flotation machines by 59 units. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Irkutsk region on February 15, 2023.
The enterprise's application for a concessional loan was approved by the Supervisory Board of the Industrial Development Fund in the Irkutsk region. The loan will be provided under the joint Development Projects program by the federal and regional funds. The total cost of the project is 108 million rubles, of which the amount of 62 million is provided by the IDF.
– “All the equipment that the plant intends to purchase due to the IDF borrowed funds is of domestic production. Thus, Usolmash will purchase the Russian equipment in order to, in turn, produce the flotation machines for mining and processing complexes of our country. It is a significant step towards the technological sovereignty”, says first deputy chairman of the government, Ruslan Sitnikov.
The funds under the Development Projects program are provided for 5 years. The preferential rate of 1% per annum will be valid for all years of loan use. The company is also investing its own funds in the amount of almost 50 million rubles in technical re-equipment.
– - “Similar to other machine-building enterprises in the region, Usolmash actively uses the government support measures provided by the Territorial Development Fund. Moreover, it's not just about financial mechanisms: Usolmash also participates in the national project “Labor Efficiency” that is being implemented in the Irkutsk region by the FRD division, namely by the Regional Competence Center”, - said director of the IDF, Yana Shevchenko.
